The Fengtai Swimming Pool is located within the Fengtai Sports Center, boasting modern swimming facilities and standard pool layouts: two 25m×50m pools with eight lanes, with the shallow water area ranging from 1.1m to 1.2m in depth; the deep water area ranges from 1.8m to 2.2m. The pool features a modern and dynamic bottom design, which is fresh and unique. The walls between the eastern and western pools are composed of eight aquariums, creating a vast underwater world scene that complements the azure pool water on both sides.
The water temperature is maintained between 25-27 degrees Celsius, with an indoor temperature of around 27 degrees Celsius in winter. Heating is provided by French technology, and hot water showers are equipped with infrared sensing systems. The pool’s water circulation and purification system utilizes advanced water treatment equipment, employing diatomaceous earth multi-stage adsorption filtration, achieving a filtration precision of less than 3 microns, capable of filtering out solid suspended particles larger than 1μm, E. coli, and algae. Chlorinated isocyanuric acid is used for disinfection, making the water even more azure and clear. The water quality and clarity meet the professional competition water standards set by the International Swimming Federation. All staff at the Fengtai Swimming Pool have received professional training from health departments, and lifeguards and coaches are certified by the National Sports Bureau with a high level of expertise. The reception capacity is 1000 people per hour, with a large daily traffic of 3500 people, and over 200,000 swimmers are received annually.
