Fisherman’s Wharf Scenic Area is located at 121 degrees east longitude and 30 degrees north latitude, at the southern end of Shanghai, on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay, known as the ‘South Gate’ of Shanghai. It is 40 kilometers from the city center, 30 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport, and 50 kilometers from Pudong Airport. The scenic area is easily accessible via the Xinfengjin Expressway, with beautiful scenery that combines the charm of Jiangnan water towns, pastoral scenery, coastal mudflats, and natural wilderness.


The scenic area is equipped with a visitor service center, a medical room, and volunteer workstations. Additionally, there is a legal propaganda square that regularly or irregularly hosts related legal propaganda activities to promote the rule of law and provide legal services to citizens and tourists.


The main attractions that have been opened include the Hangzhou Bay Shell Nature Reserve, artificial beach, Bao Wanrong Chinese Peking Opera Art Costume Museum, Gulf International Kite Flying Field, Longteng Pavilion, Little Master Century Gallery, Liu Xiaoling Art Museum, and the Gulf Road Cultural and Art Street. It is an excellent place for citizens and tourists to return to nature, enjoy nature, and engage in leisure tourism and business clubs.
