The former site of Jinping Phosphate Mine is located in Taohua Village, Jinping Town, Haizhou District, Lianyungang City. Jinping Phosphate Mine is the earliest discovered phosphate mine in China with the longest mining history. It is known as the originator of the chemical industry in Jiangsu Province and the ‘cradle of national chemical mines’. The main body of the phosphate mine currently covers an area of about 4,500 square meters, with a width of 80 meters and a length of 50 meters. There are three rows of workshops. In 2010, it was announced as the fourth batch of cultural relic protection units in Lianyungang City. Open all year round and all day.
