Constructed in 1954, the Four Seasons Pavilion comprises four pavilions: Spring Pavilion, Summer Pavilion, Autumn Pavilion, and Winter Pavilion, located to the south of the Baihua Mountain House and around the square pond. Each pavilion shares identical styles and colors, featuring a square shape with yellow roofs and red pillars. One side of each pavilion serves as a decorative wall, while the other three sides are equipped with seating ledges.
Adjacent to each pavilion, seasonal flowers and trees are planted as identifiers: the Spring Pavilion, known as ‘Overflowing Red,’ is adorned with plum blossoms; the Summer Pavilion, named ‘Dripping Green,’ features oleander; the Autumn Pavilion, called ‘Intoxicating Yellow,’ is graced with osmanthus; and the Winter Pavilion, referred to as ‘Chanting White,’ is accompanied by wintersweet. The fragrance of flowers blooms throughout the year. In 1981, calligraphers Zhu Bai Li, Mao Yi Cheng, Zeng Ke Shu, and Qian Yu Lin were invited to inscribe the pavilions’ names. The pond’s interior and the exterior of the dike are surrounded by meandering lake waters, creating a picturesque scene with charming reflections, offering a unique ambiance. The pavilions are open year-round and accessible all day long.Four Seasons Pavilion
