Fu’an Bridge

Fu’an Bridge is one of the oldest bridges in the ancient town of Zhouzhuang. It was originally constructed in 1355. After reconstruction, it became a stone arch bridge and was renamed Fu’an Bridge.

Four two-story pavilions stand by the water at the head of the bridge. Interestingly, the first and second floors are not connected. One must use the stone steps beside the bridge to reach the second floor.
