Fu’an Bridge is one of the oldest bridges in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, originally constructed in 1355. After reconstruction, it became a stone arch bridge and was renamed Fu’an Bridge.
At the head of the bridge, four two-story pavilions stand by the water. Interestingly, the first and second floors are not connected; one must use the stairs alongside the stone bridge to reach the second floor.
There are five rare Wu Kang stones on Fu’an Bridge, along with numerous auspicious reliefs. Standing on the bridge, visitors can enjoy the beautiful canal views and take photos to remember the moment.
It is said that walking three times on Fu’an Bridge will lead to career success. The bridge is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to daily conditions.
Due to the distinctiveness of Fu’an Bridge, it attracts a large number of visitors. It is recommended to avoid peak seasons such as holidays, as it can be difficult to take a solo photo otherwise.
