The new Gaochun Museum was officially opened to the public on November 28, 2013. It has a building area of 9,697 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 3,000 square meters. There are 1,368 pieces (sets) of collections in the museum. The basic exhibition is themed ‘Lush Water and Green Mountains, Natural Wonderland’ and is divided into six units. Entering the Gaochun Museum, you will travel through tens of thousands of years of Gaochun’s history in a short time and fully understand Gaochun’s historical culture and humanistic ecology.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00 – 11:30 am (ticket distribution stops at 11:00); 14:00 – 16:30 pm (ticket distribution stops at 16:00); closed on Mondays (except legal holidays).

Must-see tips:
1. It is strictly prohibited to bring dangerous goods such as inflammables and explosives and items strictly controlled by the state into the museum.
2. Cameras are prohibited in the exhibition hall. Photographers are not allowed to use flashlights and tripods to avoid damage to cultural relics.
3. Do not eat, smoke, make noise, chase, frolic, climb in the exhibition hall. Please set your mobile phone to silent mode to avoid affecting others’ visits. Do not spit everywhere and throw waste randomly.
