Gaolishan Mountain is primarily composed of shale, sandstone, and limestone. The southern slope is abundant with shrubs. The mountain stands at an elevation of over four hundred meters and is adorned with pine trees and bamboo. The upper part of the mountain features alpine meadows, while at the base lies Lunshan Reservoir. The mountain is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 08:00 to 17:00.
