Grand Canal Origin Park is located on the banks of the ancient Han Gou, and the scenic area consists of key national cultural heritage protection units such as the ancient Han Gou plank road, the ancient Han Gou wharf, King Wu Fuchai Square, and the Canal Mi City. It is an open scenic area integrating cultural sightseeing, immersive experiences, and ecological leisure.
Built and invested in by the local government of Hanjiang District, the park is 750 meters long and covers an area of 40,000 square meters. It features the first immersive performance street in Yangzhou themed around canal culture, accommodating up to 180 viewers. The park also includes supporting facilities such as Chinese and Western restaurants, cafes, camping bases, and a canal bookstore, as well as public facilities like parking lots and public toilets. Operating through a model of corporatization, marketization, and specialization, the park attracts tourists to immerse themselves in the 2500-year-old canal culture of Yangzhou. It is also suitable for conducting research studies and team-building activities, allowing every visitor to Yangzhou to deeply appreciate the charm of the city.
