The Gu Yanwu Memorial Hall is located in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. It includes Gu Yanwu’s former residence, Tinglin Ancestral Hall, tomb and Gu Garden. The Gu Yanwu Memorial Hall faces east and falls west. It is a five-entry antique Ming and Qing architecture. From east to west, there are water wall gates, foyer, Qing hall (carriage hall), Ming hall (main hall, nanmu hall), and residential building. On the north side, there is a back alley connecting the kitchen, study building and back garden. It is connected to the thousand-year-old flagstone street in the front and Gu Yanwu’s tomb and Gu Garden in the back.
