The Guangfulin Cultural Exhibition Hall is located in the first large roof floating in Fulin Lake and the circular building on the side. The entire exhibition space is set underwater. Entering the exhibition hall gives people the hint of stepping underground and going back to ancient times. The exhibition hall design is based on the concept of ‘time travel’. Through scene designs such as Guangfulin archaeological memory, the evolution of Shanghai’s land formation, the arrival of activities of ancestors, the formation of urban characteristics, the prosperity of Songjiang Prefecture, the rise of Shanghai city, and moving towards tomorrow in the future, audiences can experience and read about this city of Shanghai in the time tunnel, and understand where it comes from and where it is going. Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round; open from 09:00 to 21:00 during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. Preferential policies: Children: Children under 1.3 meters (inclusive) in height or under 6 years old (inclusive) are free. Disabled people: Disabled people with valid certificates are exempted from tickets and are free. Fire rescue personnel: In-service, retired, and disabled fire rescue personnel (including full-time government firefighters) and students of fire rescue colleges can enter for free with valid certificates. Active servicemen, disabled servicemen, and families of active servicemen: Active servicemen, disabled servicemen, and families of active servicemen with valid certificates are free. Relatives of martyrs, relatives of soldiers who died on duty, and relatives of soldiers who died of illness: Relatives of martyrs, relatives of soldiers who died on duty, and relatives of soldiers who died of illness with valid certificates are free.
