Guanlan Pavilion

Passing by a row of maple trees, one can see an exquisite and small ancient and elegant courtyard. A more than 400-year-old ancient Chinese wingnut tree stands tall and beautiful. This is the temporary palace where Emperor Qianlong stayed during his southern inspection tour. The palace is a two-story building. More than fifty years ago, there was no beach in front of the pavilion. Outside the pavilion, the raging waves beat against the shore, with undulating waves. Hence, it is named Guanlan Pavilion. On the upper and lower floors of the Guanlan Pavilion, there are large transparent windows on the east, south, and west sides. Viewing the river scenery from the corridor upstairs offers a broad view. Looking closely, one can see the flourishing flowers and trees. Looking into the distance, one can see the surging river tide, elegant white clouds, and neat and beautiful mountains.
