Guzhang Botanical Garden is located in the Xishan Scenic Area, named after the thousand-year-old camphor trees within the park. A large number of precious flowers, plants, and trees have been introduced, maintaining the beauty of a garden while preserving the natural wildness. Known as the ‘First Tree of Wu County’, it complements the ancient Suzhou gardens in perfect harmony. The botanical garden features five scenic areas: the Ancient Camphor Tree Viewing Area, Economic Plants and Rare Fruit Trees Demonstration Area, Exhibition Greenhouse, Simple Flower Production Greenhouse, and Aquatic Plants Area. The garden is open all year round from 08:00 to 16:30, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
Preferential policies for children: those below 1.4 meters (inclusive) enter for free; those between 1.4 meters (exclusive) and 1.6 meters (inclusive) pay half price. Elderly: those aged 70 years (inclusive) and above enter for free; those aged 60 years (inclusive) to 69 years (inclusive) pay half price. Disabled: disabled individuals with a disability certificate enter for free. Students: students with a student ID pay half price.
