Haitian Temple

Haitian Temple is located in Banqiao Town in the east, on the north side of the Taicang section of the Shanghai-Jiading Expressway on the outskirts. Established in the 1990s. The name of the temple is derived from ‘The sea water shakes the empty edge, the heavenly flowers brush the sleeves and come. The wind by the Zen is good, and the Banqiao beside the temple opens’. Its architecture is magnificent and can be called ‘a unique sight in Jiangdong’. It covers an area of more than ten thousand mu. Inside there are Shanmen Tower, Tianhuang Hall, Mahavira Hall, Guanyun Pavilion, Ksitigarbha Pavilion, etc.
