Banshan, originally known as Gaoting Mountain, has been a habitat for Hangzhou’s ancestors since the Neolithic period.

Located on the southern slopes of Banshan, Banshan Park was established in 1985 and is part of the Banshan National Forest Park.

Together with Longshan and Hu Mountain, it forms a large park complex, offering Hangzhou’s unique mountain and water resources.

The park is lush with greenery and adorned with abundant flora, making it an ideal destination for weekend relaxation and outings.

It is open all year round, accessible 24/7, with specific opening times subject to on-site announcements at the scenic area.
