Hangzhou Bay National Wetland Park is located near the southern end of the Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge. It is a wetland park with lush grass and flying warblers in the suburbs of Ningbo. Here, there are not only expansive mudflats but also large areas of reed marshes and wasteland. Every year, many migratory birds inhabit and breed here, and the photos taken are very impressive. In Chen Kaige’s film ‘Caught in the Web’, some scenes of Gao Yuanyuan were filmed here. Fans might as well look for the scenes in the drama. At present, the scenic area implements a one-ticket system, including battery cars and cruise ships in the entrance ticket. There are two tourist routes, A and B. Route A takes a car first and then a boat, while route B is just the opposite. The two routes have exactly the same tourist content and can be chosen at will. The first impression of the wetland park is full of green. Touring along route B, after passing the lotus pond, there is a winding open-air corridor. Through the transparent fish tanks more than one person tall on both sides of the road, you can see fish swimming leisurely around you, giving a feeling of an aquarium. Not far ahead is the cruise ship dock. Taking a black-awning boat and wandering on the wetland’s waterways, you can occasionally see egrets and cormorants playing on the lake surface, with beautiful scenery. The entire tour takes about ten minutes. Cruise ships basically leave as soon as they are full, which is relatively convenient. Not far after landing is the Milu Garden. Small animals are foraging on the island not far from you, full of wild charm. Passing through a section of sandy road is a lotus pond, as well as a wooden zigzag bridge and reed marsh. The classic scene of Gao Yuanyuan looking back and smiling on the plank road in ‘Caught in the Web’ was filmed here. The reed marshes in autumn are very beautiful. At the entrance of the wooden bridge stands a still from ‘Caught in the Web’. Girls might as well take a photo in the same pose as a souvenir. The love cabin in the drama and some temporarily built scenes for filming are also nearby. If interested, you can ‘search’ for them. After passing the circular Butterfly Island, you can take a tourist bus to the Migratory Bird Museum. Behind the transparent glass in the museum are displayed specimens of various birds, accompanied by graphic and textual information on the migration routes and habits of migratory birds. On the first floor of the venue, there is a 6D cinema where you can participate in an interactive experience project themed on migratory bird migration (50 yuan). In a virtual and real combined environment, starting from Siberia, follow the migratory bird ‘Jiajia’ to fly over high mountains and seas and arrive at the warm and comfortable Hangzhou Bay. Cycling in the wetland park is also a leisurely and pleasant thing. There are bicycle rentals in the scenic area. The deposit is 100 yuan. The rent for a single bicycle is 10 yuan per hour, and the rent for a tandem bicycle is 20 yuan per hour. The Bridge Ecological Farm opposite the wetland park is a good ecological scenic spot. For parent-child outings or family trips, you might as well arrange to visit it in the same itinerary.
