The Hangzhou National Archives Center, also known as Wenrun Pavilion and the Hangzhou branch of the National Archives Center of China, is located at No. 1 Wenrun Road, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a part of the National Archives Center of China. The center consists of a total of 13 individual buildings, including the main study, South Study, Wenrun Pavilion, mountain warehouse, and ancillary rooms. There are areas such as exhibition areas, preservation areas, cave storage areas, and communication areas. The building complex is exquisitely conceived and features the style of Jiangnan gardens with the charm of the Song Dynasty. It is also known as the ‘gene bank of the seeds of Chinese civilization’. Opening hours: closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 16:00 from Tuesdays to Sundays throughout the year.
