Hanhan Spring is located on the west side of the uphill road of Tiger Hill. According to legend, it was dug by the divine monk Hanhan during the Tianjian period of the Liang Dynasty. This well spring is still clear, cool, and sweet. There is a saying that ‘the spring at the bottom of the well is connected to the sea in secret’. In the past, monks in the temple drew water here and brewed Tiger Hill Baiyun tea to serve distinguished guests.
