Located to the north of Hehua Chi, the park is shaped like a half-bird and is shaded by lush greenery. It features a classic brick and wooden hall and a scenic pavilion. The hall comprises three bays, surrounded by a three-sided corridor with upturned eaves and corners; a hexagonal pavilion stands on a high mound in the northwest, with intricately carved flower boards on all six sides under the eaves.

Inside the garden, there is a greenhouse housing over a hundred varieties of flowers and trees, with fragrances lasting through all seasons. In spring, you can find camellias, orchids, and jasmine; in summer, there are epiphyllum, water lilies, June snow, and oleanders; in autumn, there are osmanthus, chrysanthemums, stone garlic, and scarlet sage; and in winter, there are wintersweet and bamboo. Evergreen species include iron trees, five-needle pines, South Sea firs, and turtle-back bamboos.

The park also displays a large number of bonsai, with tree species such as boxwood, sparrow-plum, elm, podocarpus, and juniper. Inside the greenhouse, there are small artificial mountains made of lake stones, next to a pond, with dripping springs on the mountains. The park’s pond is stocked with fish fry, and the southern part is used as a nursery.

In March and April, the garden is filled with peach blossoms, making the Hehua Chi Park map a riot of colors. During the Yangzhou Lantern Festival in March, this park is one of the spots for enjoying fireworks. The park is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
