The Helü City Ruins Museum is located in the core exhibition area of China Wu Culture Expo Park – the capital city of Helü. It is a landmark building at the birthplace of China’s Wu culture. The architectural shape is round and smooth, like a phoenix breaking out of its shell, implying ‘Phoenix Nirvana’, symbolizing that the ancient city of Helü is reborn after 2500 years and reproduces its glory. The entire exhibition area is composed of five parts: Exploring Ancient Wu Region, Passing on the Torch, Spring and Autumn Ritual and Music, Majestic Helü, and Ancient Charm of Wu Style.
Through historical and cultural relics exhibitions, 3D films, multimedia interactive experiences and other links, the exhibition area shows the historical evolution of the ancient state of Wu and the archaeological process and protection status of the Helü City ruins, highlighting the spirit of King Helü of Wu who worked hard to govern, strived to strengthen the country, was diligent and honest in caring for the people, and appointed people based on their merits, reproducing the wonderful chapter of the Wu State in the Spring and Autumn Period.Opening hours: From January 1st to December 31st, closed all day on Monday; from January 1st to December 31st, open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday; open from 09:00 to 17:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
