Yuyuan Road is a famous street in the western part of Shanghai. This long old street extends from Jing’an Temple to Zhongshan Park. On the old street, there are old Western-style houses from the 1920s and 1930s in Shanghai. Walking on the street is full of Shanghai elements. No. 31, Lane 1136 is now the Children’s Palace. The unique European-style attic in Lane 520 is the former residence of Gu Bingxing, a comic book writer.

Yongquan Fang in Lane 395, a Spanish garden-style building, has its own characteristics. Nowadays, in addition to many excellent historical buildings, Yuyuan Road is also lined with characteristic small shops. Walking on Yuyuan Road, just passing by a Taiwanese ice cream shop, the next one may be a Western-style dessert shop. Taking one more step, you can pass by the former residence of a historical celebrity.
