The prime minister hall showcases ten prime ministers including Xu Pu, a virtuous prime minister in the Ming Dynasty and a veteran of four dynasties. The number one scholar hall exhibits four number one scholars including She Zhong in the Song Dynasty. The general hall displays seven generals such as Zhou Chu and his son in the Jin Dynasty and Lu Xiangsheng in the Ming Dynasty. The successful candidates in the highest imperial examinations hall showcases 12 outstanding figures with outstanding intelligence and remarkable political achievements. The hall of virtuous people displays the outstanding talents and lofty moral demeanor of 12 sages in Yixing. The hall of overseas Chinese and wealthy people showcases seven historical celebrities who lived in Yixing in ancient times, such as Ren Fang in the Liang Dynasty, Su Dongpo and Yue Fei in the Song Dynasty, and Wang Ao in the Ming Dynasty. It reflects that they not only love the beauty of Yixing’s landscapes but also the simple and honest folk customs of Yixing people and their historical contributions to Yixing.
