Hongkan Waterfall is located in the southeast of Yuanmen Township, Baisha Li Autonomous County. The total drop of the waterfall is 145 meters. Originating from Hongkan Ridge at an elevation of 1101 meters, the waterfall is flanked by towering peaks, sheer cliffs, and densely packed karst formations. The river in the sky cascades down like a silver dragon descending from the heavens. The waterfall resembles a silver snake dancing wildly, impacting the layered rocks and creating a myriad of scenes. During the rainy season, when the mountain torrents erupt, the sound of the waterfall thunders like thunder, shaking the mountains and presenting a majestic and spectacular view.
