Hou Chong Scenic Area is located north of the Yangtze River, about 4 kilometers northwest of Laoshan National Forest Park. Here, you can recall the years of educated youth and also experience local customs. The Educated Youth Memorial Hall is a courtyard-style memorial hall. The houses are arranged according to the residences of educated youth when they went to the countryside. Slogans are written on the walls, and a granary model is placed in the courtyard. In the hall, you can also see real objects such as red armbands, oil lamps, old-fashioned thermos bottles, and enamel cups from that era. At Yaoxu Impression, you can have a meal. If you bring children, you can participate in agricultural experience activities such as fishing and picking.
