Houshan is a quarry relic, known for its stone landscapes. The essence of the stone landscapes is the ‘Checkerboard Stone’, which is more than 20 meters high and has three horizontal stones on it. It is named after the legend that two immortals once played chess here. In addition, Houshan is also the shooting location for film and television works such as the sequel to Journey to the West, King Goujian of Yue, and Myth. In addition to the Checkerboard Stone, there are more than twenty main scenic spots such as cloud stone, elephant trunk sucking water, and Yidongtian. You can look around while walking. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can not only overlook the rural scenery near and far, but also clearly observe the appearance of cloud stone. It is said that here is one of the important bases where King Goujian of Yue realized his great cause of restoring the country.
