Hua Xi Scenic Area, located at the foot of Da Pan Mountain, is 8 kilometers away from Pan’an County and 27 kilometers from Hengdian World Studios. The area is home to elegantly designed farmhouse restaurants. The scenic area’s roads are connected to the provincial Dongxian Highway and the upcoming Zhuyong Expressway, ensuring convenient transportation.
Lush forests flank both sides of Hua Xi, with peculiar peaks and unique rocks creating a captivating, ever-changing landscape. As you follow the Hua Xi upstream, you can enjoy the legacy of the covered bridge, the smoke from village kitchens, Jin Si Tan, the thousand-meter flat long stream, the secluded beauty of Hua Xi, the duel of two waterfalls, Shi Sun Rock, and the King of Wisteria among other wonders. Traversing the sea of trees and ascending Da Pan Mountain, you can discover ancient temples hidden in the forest, volcanic lakes, and the source of four rivers. The scenic area is open year-round from 08:00 to 16:00. Children under 1.2 meters (not including) enter for free. Important Note: Due to road construction, Hua Xi Scenic Area was temporarily closed from October 1, 2013, and was expected to reopen in May 2014.
