Huaguo Mountain Rafting in Lianyungang is 1060 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a drop of 230 meters. The slide is a single slide with more than a dozen slopes ranging from 30 to 65 degrees, equipped with a buffer pool. The sides of the slide are steep with rich vegetation and abundant water. Unlike some scenic areas that use natural river channels for rafting, Huaguo Mountain Rafting utilizes the original mountain streams of Huaguo Mountain, cleaned and built with cement slides, ensuring high safety. However, due to the significant drop, it is incredibly thrilling.
Upon arrival at the rafting starting point, scenic area staff will provide a brief training on the precautions to be taken during rafting and issue helmets and life jackets to each person. Rafting in the heat is an ideal way to cool off and entertain.
During the rafting process, the force with which the rafting boats rush down each section of the slide varies. After rushing into the buffer pool, the water in the pool acts as a buffer, slowing down the speed of the rafting boats and preparing for the next section of the slide. Therefore, the speed of the rafting boats can be controlled after each section of the slide to ensure safety. However, due to the different slopes of each section, the water in the pool will be splashed high when the rafting boats slide down from the steeper slopes, with large waves splashing down, making it hard not to feel cool.
Although the high-speed downward rafting process may be ‘startling,’ most people will regret saying, ‘It’s too thrilling; I want to do it again,’ once the half-hour rafting is over. They also express that they will inform their friends and relatives to come and play after returning.
Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
