Located in the Huaguo Mountain, the Eighteen Bends are accessed by climbing up from the Immortal Bridge along the Zhujiling Ridge. The ridge features 18 sets of 349 steps, hence the name Eighteen Bends. It serves as a crucial pathway for tourists to hike up the mountain. Ancient builders, according to the varying slopes and undulations of the mountain, paved the steps with slab stones, creating eighteen sets of steps, each consisting of three to eight levels, with varying distances between them, spanning a total length of about half a mile.

Tourists find joy in the continuous ascent along the winding stone paths. Today, the ancient slab stones of the Eighteen Bends have been replaced with cement steps, yet many visitors with a nostalgic sentiment still prefer to immerse themselves in the lingering charm of the ancient trail here. Beyond the 349th step lies the Wind Door, a place where every journey is filled with scenery and emotion.

The scenic area is open all year round, accessible 24/7. For specific opening times, please consult the local景区.
