Huaguo Mountain ‘The Return of the Monkey King’ 360 Extreme Flight

The ‘The Return of the Monkey King’ 360 Extreme Flight project is located on the east side of the Wusheng Square in the scenic area of Huaguo Mountain, Lianyungang City. The exterior is designed in the image of Sun Wukong, offering visitors a 360-degree immersive cinematic experience. The audience hall is dome-shaped, with a semi-spherical screen that surrounds the viewers, making the screen appear like the sky. Thanks to the large and clear screen images that extend from in front of the audience to behind, accompanied by 3D surround sound, viewers feel as if they are part of the scene, creating a very strong sense of presence. The custom film ‘Flying Over Huaguo Mountain’ takes the theme of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, flying over Huaguo Mountain, leading visitors to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Huaguo Mountain throughout the four seasons and allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the Monkey King’s homeland and the culture of the Journey to the West. Each film lasts about 10 minutes, with a 15-meter super-large diameter spherical screen, featuring thrilling scenes such as soaring through clouds, racing around curves, flying over cities, and descending from the clouds, enhanced by motion seats and 3D surround sound that provide a sense of motion and immersion. The Huaguo Mountain ‘The Return of the Monkey King’ 360 Extreme Flight project combines the advantages of mainstream special theaters and amusement equipment such as dome theaters, flight theaters, multi-dimensional theaters, and roller coasters, integrating immersive dome imaging technology, naked-eye technology, and dynamic vibration platform technology with various high-tech features. The exterior is spray-painted with a cartoon image of Sun Wukong’s head, making the cartoon image more fitting for the positioning of the Huaguo Mountain scenic area. The current films being shown include ‘Sky-High Racing Car,’ ‘Through Africa,’ and ‘Deep Sea Adventure,’ with ‘The Return of the Monkey King’ film currently in production and set to be launched during this year’s summer vacation. At that time, the audience will be able to overlook more than ten scenic spots of Huaguo Mountain from a high altitude, feel the beautiful scenery of the four seasons of Huaguo Mountain, and join Sun Wukong in a thrilling, beautiful, and super-shocking adventure, leaving no regrets. Opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 all year round. Preferential policies: Children: Free for those under 6 years old (including) or under 1.4 meters (including) in height; half price for those between 6 years old (not including) and 18 years old (including). Elderly: Free for those 70 years old (including) and above; half price for those between 60 years old (including) and 70 years old (not including). Others: Free for active servicemen of the People’s Republic of China, disabled veterans, retired military cadres, police, firefighters, emergency personnel, holders of the People’s Republic of China Veterans’ Preference Certificate and the three-related preference certificates (surviving family members of martyrs, surviving family members of soldiers who died in the line of duty, surviving family members of soldiers who died of illness), holders of the Jiangsu Province Blood Donation Honor Certificate, disabled people (severe disabilities with one accompanying caregiver), and holders of the Jiangsu Province Preferential Treatment and Consolation Certificate (for those who participated in war and nuclear tests) with valid identification and ID card for real-name registration.
