There is a section of the existing ruins of the east city wall of the old city of Huai’an. It is 400 meters long from north to south, 40 meters wide at the base, and about 9 meters high. It is one of the important witnesses of the historical and cultural features of the ancient city. The ruins of the ancient city wall of Huai’an are important physical materials for studying the architectural history of ancient cities in China, and also important materials for studying the local history of Huai’an District.
