Huaiyin Village is located in the southern part of Guyang Town, Dandu District, 12 kilometers away from Zhenjiang city center. The village consists of four natural villages. According to historical records, Huaiyin Village was established at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The legend of Dong Yong and the Seven Fairies took place here. In recent years, the village has invested a large amount of funds in the protection of intangible cultural heritage sites, successfully restoring legendary sites such as ‘Qixian Bridge’, ‘Old Locust Tree’, ‘Land Temple’, and ‘Weaving Brocade Building’, and has constructed rural attractions like the Seven Fairies Square, Xiangmen, and Huaiyin Temple. The village is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
