Huangcangyu National Forest Park is located 25 kilometers southeast of Xiaoxian County. It is said to be named because Liu Bang hid here to avoid being chased by Qin soldiers before he became emperor. The highest point of the scenic area is 384 meters above sea level. Although the mountain is not high, it is relatively steep. The mountain is covered with a plant called Pteroceltis tatarinowii. It is a natural forest oxygen bar.

In spring and summer, it is full of greenery. In winter, the branches of different heights reach into the sky, forming a strange and grotesque picture. The Huangcangyu scenic area runs from east to west. The gate is at the east end. After tourists enter the scenic area, they can choose to walk or take a sightseeing car to Ruiyun Temple. The one-way fare for the sightseeing car is 5 yuan. This section of the road is relatively flat.

Ruiyun Temple mainly sees ancient trees. There are thousand-year-old ginkgo trees and ancient pines in the backyard, as well as two old osmanthus trees. After leaving Ruiyun Temple, you can take the mountain road on the south side and pass by Bojian Spring to Huangcang Cave. Huangcang Cave is said to be the place where Liu Bang hid back then. From Huangcang Cave to the highest viewing peak, the mountain road is very steep.

After reaching the viewing peak at 384 meters above sea level and looking down at the mountainside, the green vegetation stretches like a layer of green carpet covering the hillside. Then you can take the road on the north side to go down the mountain without having to retrace your steps. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 16:30.
