Viewing the scenery of Qiandao Lake from Huangshanjian Peak is extremely wonderful. Standing on the top of the mountain and looking northwest, more than ninety islands come into view. They are like strings of pearls scattered on the lake surface. What’s astonishing is that these islands are ingeniously arranged into the four characters ‘For the Benefit of All’. Especially the character ‘gong’ is vivid and imposing, truly a wonder of the world and the largest ‘gong’ in the world. Looking southeast, a deep valley passes between Huangshanjian Peak and Xianshan Island. Looking southwest into the distance, there is an endless expanse of the great lake, and Laoshan Island is hidden in the clouds. The Huangshanjian scenic spot is located in the Pearl Islands in the southeast lake area of Qiandao Lake. It is adjacent to Xianshan Tourism Resort. The main peak is 266 meters above sea level and is the highest island in the Pearl Islands. The scenic area is characterized by ‘beautiful waters, unique islands, and secluded scenery’. There are also a mid-mountain observation deck and a mountaintop observation deck on the mountain. You can choose to take the cableway up the mountain or climb the steps to enjoy the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00.
