The Huangxian Forest Park in Ningbo is located in Huangxian Village, northwest of Qiucun Town, Fenghua City. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side. The forest coverage rate is over 90%. It is a provincial-level forest park integrating beautiful mountains and rivers, coastal customs and cultural relics. Lin Bu, a poet of the Northern Song Dynasty known as ‘a man who takes plum blossoms as his wife and cranes as his sons’, was born here and left many popular stories. The park is mainly composed of 28 scenic spots such as Hongyan Waterfall, Miaoshan Pavilion, Qinghe Gate, Panlong Temple, Dongci Temple, Zhang Tie’ao Farmhouse, Huangxian Lake, Huangxian Tomb, Xiangyang Coast, Huangxian Square, Dongci Temple, Dongyuan Pagoda, and Qinghe Gate. It is a good place for holiday leisure and enjoying the beautiful nature. The most spectacular landscape in Huangxian Forest Park is the Great Wall on the sea. The Great Wall is several kilometers long, facing the sea along the mountains and winding in nine curves. Looking far from a high place, the islands are dotted like stars and fishing sails are everywhere. The vast sea area is all in sight. Walking on the Great Wall, listening to the sound of the waves and blowing the sea breeze is very pleasant.
