Huatang Ancient Village, nestled against the former residence of Wang Xizhi, is located at the foot of Woqi Mountain in Jintian Town. The village was initially settled by Wang Hongji, the twenty-sixth descendant of the Eastern Jin Dynasty’s great calligrapher Wang Xizhi, who led his clan to reside here. Having experienced over eight hundred years of evolution and growth, the village now preserves a large number of ancient architectural complexes from the Ming and Qing dynasties, featuring styles and layouts of that era. These include temples, hermitages, ancestral halls, residences, memorial arches, bridges, watchtowers, ponds, wells, and water channels. Notable structures include the Wang family residence, Yiqing Hall, Shanqing Hall, and Ningyuan Hall.
