Adjacent to the Jiading Confucius Temple lies a garden known as Huilongtan Park, named after the convergence of five rivers here, resembling the scene of ‘five dragons playing with a pearl’. The garden features a harmonious blend of mountains, waters, pavilions, and pavilions, which are elegant and beautiful, complementing the simple grandeur of the Confucius Temple.
Within the park, there is a hill island named Yingkui Mountain, constructed in the fourth year of the Tianshun era (1460 AD). At the top of the hill stands a pavilion called Lingyun Pavilion, from which one can overlook the entire view of Huilongtan Park. Other attractions include Kuixing Pavilion and the Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix Terrace. The park is open all year round from 07:30 to 17:00.
