Yuliang Town is located in She County, Anhui Province, with many residential houses built along the Lianjiang River. There is an ancient street in the town called Yuliang Ancient Street, which winds along the mountains and waters. The overall layout of Yuliang is well preserved, with the Yuliang Dam and the water transportation dock being distinctive features of the village. The winding bluestone alleys, white walls with black tiles, and the old houses on both sides all testify to the prosperity of this water transportation port in the past. The Yuliang Dam was first built in the Tang Dynasty and reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty, with a history of nearly 1400 years, making it one of the famous ancient water conservancy projects in China. It is open all year round, 24/7.
