Huzhen Town is located at the southern foot of Kuocang Mountain in southeastern Zhejiang in the northeast of Lishui City. It is located in the upper reaches of the Hao River, a tributary of the Oujiang River. It is the junction of ‘three cities (Lishui, Jinhua, Taizhou) and four counties (Jinyun, Yongkang, Pan’an, Xianju)’. Since ancient times, it has been known as the ‘northern window of southern Zhejiang’. The current total area of the town is about 228 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 55 administrative villages and 5 neighborhood committees. The registered population is 81,000, and the permanent resident population is 102,000. The town government is located at 108 Xibei Road. Huzhen is the sub-central city of Jinyun County and also a well-known ‘industrial town’ in Lishui City. Open all year round and open 24 hours a day.
