Huzhen Town is located at the southern foot of Kuocang Mountain in southern Zhejiang in the northeast of Lishui City. It is located in the upper reaches of the Hao Stream, a tributary of the Ou River. It is the junction of ‘three cities (Lishui, Jinhua, Taizhou) and four counties (Jinyun, Yongkang, Pan’an, Xianju)’. Since ancient times, it has been known as the ‘northern window of southern Zhejiang’. The total area of the existing town is about 228 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 55 administrative villages and 5 neighborhood committees. There are 81,000 registered residents and a permanent population of 102,000. The town government is located at 108, Xidongbei Road. Huzhen is the sub-center city of Jinyun County and also a well-known ‘industrial town’ in Lishui City. Open all year round and open 24 hours a day.
