Qiucheng is an earlier city in Huzhou’s history. It began in the late Spring and Autumn Period. The founder is Fugai, the younger brother of King Fuchai of Wu. There are Neolithic sites in the east, south and southwest of Qiucheng, so it is called “Qiucheng Site”. Today, after renovation, Qiucheng Site has taken on a new look and a park with shady trees has been built. Walking on the slightly raised wooden walkway, there is lush greenery on both sides and fresh air. After reaching the platform, in front is a vast tea garden, which is the Wenshan Imperial Tea Garden in the Tang Dynasty. At the top of the tea garden is a pavilion where you can rest. Looking west, you can see Bianshan, the main peak of Wuxing. Looking north, you can see the Moon Hotel and overlook the beautiful scenery of the South Taihu Lake at Xiaomeikou. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
