The Hydrangea Park is named after the Hydrangea Mountain. The Hydrangea Mountain is a branch of the Lion Mountain. There is a terrain of ‘lion holding a hydrangea’, hence the name. This is a citizen park with mountains and lakes. One of the more famous scenic spots is the huge pit of the large footprint of Empress Ma, the wife of Zhu Yuanzhang. It is located on the west side of the small pavilion on the top of the mountain. It is 84 centimeters long, 31 centimeters wide, and 25 centimeters deep. Beside it is the statue of Empress Ma, which is 2.5 meters high. There is a mural about Empress Ma on the back side of the statue of Empress Ma. On the left side, the mural is on the right side. Looking from right to left, the mural shows her life course. In addition, there are several scenic spots such as the East Lake, fish viewing pond and the three islands in the West Garden. People can take a boat ride, view fish, relax and enjoy the scenery of mountains, waters, cities and forests here.
