The Idyllic Pastoral Scenic Area, covering an area of 1100 acres, is a specialized functional park where visitors can enjoy pet performances, competitions, and services such as pet training, boarding, grooming, and medical treatment.
This scenic area is jointly established by Hangzhou Idyllic Pastoral Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology College through industry-academia-research cooperation. It has selected hundreds of new and unique pets from both domestic and international sources, and offers three types of performances including indoor, outdoor, and aquatic, as well as two types of experience projects including dog racing and cute pet interactions.
On the basis of undertaking the tasks of college teaching practice and scientific and technological achievement transformation, the scenic area fills the knowledge gap of animal research for young students through systematic pet science education. It also allows visitors to experience the joy of watching competitions and interactive experiences through scientific pet emotional training. Opening hours: Closed all day on Mondays; Open from 13:00 to 20:00 on Tuesdays to Fridays; Open from 09:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays and Sundays; Open from 09:00 to 21:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
