The immersive digital experience hall of ‘Stories of Ming Dynasty’ is located in the Qinhuai Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall in Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, the beautiful ancient capital of six dynasties. The project covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters. It is a fully immersive digital experience hall integrating game interaction experience, immersive interpretation and mystery plot.
The hall is based on the background and region of Yingtian Mansion in the Ming Dynasty. It is divided into three areas: Eighteen Workshops in the Streetscape, Heavenly Crafts Bazaar and the Imperial Palace. At the entrance, the large screen combines multimedia visual effects technology with ‘Prosperous Scenes of Nandu’. As long as you scan the QR code on the right side of the screen with your hand, you can synthesize your exclusive character, set off fireworks, throw lanterns, complete interactions and experience the fun of character immersion. The eighteen workshops include independent experience areas such as the fulling workshop, tavern, teahouse, blacksmith shop, and Jiaofang Division. Tourists can taste wine, enjoy tea, experience the ancient iron-making situation, feel the projection of writing and painting, listen to music and enjoy ancient dances here. It reproduces the prosperous market streets of the capital city in the Ming Dynasty. If you are dressed in Hanfu and stay here, you can feel a more unique charm of the Ming Dynasty. At the Heavenly Crafts Bazaar, there are many interactive projects related to intangible cultural heritage handicrafts (rubbing, divination, pitching pot, shadow puppetry, guessing riddles, etc.), allowing tourists to be more immersive and personally experience the charm of traditional culture and understand the wisdom crystallization that has been passed down for thousands of years. At the Imperial Palace, special immersive mystery plot interactions are held regularly. Tourists can trigger the plot with the exclusive NPC and travel through time and space. Assist the emperor Zhu Di’s bodyguards to complete the counterattack task of ‘the lost jade seal’. Fighting, mechanisms, projections and interactions are exciting and fun! Experience the brain-burning mystery plot and complete the impossible possibility! In addition, there are hidden tasks of searching for lost items in the hall!
