Introducing the Imperial Kiln Scenic Area in Jingdezhen, a ceramic cultural park built to the standards of a ‘National 5A Level Scenic Area’, located on the banks of the Nanhe River, the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. It is near the kiln sites of Yingtian and Baihuwan from the Tang, Five Dynasties, Song, and Yuan dynasties in the south and north, and adjacent to the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. The park is divided into six courtyards:

There are workshops from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties that fully display the traditional porcelain-making techniques of the imperial kilns; a large-scale modern high-tech porcelain production line; the Imperial Kiln Ceramic Culture Research Institute, International Ceramic Cultural Exchange Center, Ancient Ceramic Appraisal Consultation Service, Advanced Seminar on Ancient Ceramic Appraisal, and the Imperial Kiln Ceramic Art Museum; a ceramic entrepreneurship park for well-known national calligraphers and painters; an internship base for ceramic majors from national higher art colleges, an employment incubation base for art college graduates, and a pottery summer camp site for primary and secondary school students nationwide; and a creation and display area for Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist ceramic art.
