Ciyun Temple was built around the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of several hundred years. The mountain gate of Ciyun Temple is inlaid with a stone plaque of ‘Imperially Bestowed Ciyun Temple’ written by Emperor Kangxi himself. After two wars, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Rebellion and the Anti-Japanese War, only the stone plaque and stone lions remained of Ciyun Temple. It was rebuilt in 2002.
