Impression West Lake, a production that is part of the renowned ‘Impression Series’, was created by the famous director Zhang Yimou, Wang Chaoge, and Fan Yue. The performance venue is situated between Yuehu, Quyuanfenghe, and Sutu in the northwest of West Lake. The stage is set on the lake surface, utilizing high-tech sound and light technology to create scenes, and numerous actors perform to bring to life the beauty of the Jiangnan region and its folktales. On quiet nights, the enchanting West Lake becomes the canvas where the beauty of Jiangnan and timeless legends emerge and bloom in the night and memory. The performance is open all year round from 19:40 to 22:00, with the first show starting at 19:40 and the second at 21:10, each lasting approximately 50 minutes. Specific performance times and the availability of a second show are subject to the actual situation of the scenic area, and additional shows may be added on special dates.


Preferential policies for children: Children under 1.2 meters in height enter for free without occupying a seat; children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive) can purchase children’s tickets at the scenic area. Service facilities include parking lots: [North China Hotel] with a reference price of ¥10 per hour; located at Yue Miao Qixialing 18, Xihu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province; with 47 parking spaces; Ling Guang parking lot about 300 meters away can accommodate large buses.


Restrooms are located to the right of the performance area within the scenic area. The area also has various restaurants and snack shops. Convenience stores are located next to KFC near the ticket office and bus station, supporting cash and Alipay/WeChat payments.
