When applying for a visa, you need to prepare the following materials:
- Basic application materials
(1) Passport: Original passport with a validity period of more than 6 months and a blank visa page and a copy of the passport photo and data page.
(2) Visa application form and photos: 1 “Visa Application Form of the People’s Republic of China” and 1 recent, frontal, color (light background), bareheaded, passport photo pasted on the application form.
(3) Proof of legal stay or residence (applicable to those who do not apply for a visa in the country of nationality): If you do not apply for a visa in the country of nationality, you need to provide valid proof of legal stay, residence, work, and study in the country where you are located or the original and valid visa. a copy.
(4) Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who once had Chinese nationality and later became a foreign national): If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you must provide the original Chinese passport and a copy of the passport photo data page; if you have ever If you have obtained a Chinese visa and apply for a visa with a newly issued foreign passport, you must provide the photo data page of the original foreign passport and a copy of the Chinese visa you obtained (if the name recorded in the new passport is inconsistent with the original passport, you must also provide a copy of the photo data page issued by the relevant official Documentation proving name change).

A letter of guarantee issued by a foreign transportation company or an invitation letter issued by relevant units in China.
D visa
The original and copy of the foreigner’s permanent residence status confirmation form issued by the Ministry of Public Security of China.
Please note:
The holder of the certificate must apply for a residence permit within 30 days after entering China from the exit and entry administration agency of the public security organ of the local people’s government at or above the county level in the place of intended residence.
