Jiading Wisteria Garden is located on the Huacheng River bank of Boluo Road in Jiading District, northwest suburbs of Shanghai, established to commemorate the 10th anniversary of friendly exchanges and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Jiading District and Wakayama Prefecture, Okayama, Japan. The park began construction in September 1997 and was officially opened on April 22, 2000.
Covering an area of over 10,000 square meters, the garden houses more than 100 fine wisteria plants with various species, large flowers, and bright colors, including purple, red, pink, goose yellow, and pure white. The length of the flower clusters typically ranges from 80 to 140 centimeters, with some exceeding 150 centimeters. The garden is open all year round from 07:00 to 18:00.Jiading Wisteria Garden
