Jiangjun Mountain Ecological Tourism Resort is located in Tiexin Bridge, southern suburbs of Nanjing, covering a total area of 3.5 square kilometers. To the north lies the Qinhuai Xinhe River; it overlooks the Bo Ni King Tomb Tourism Area; to the southwest, it is adjacent to Niushou Mountain and Dashitou Sightseeing and Leisure Area; and nearby is the ancient Longquan Temple. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the Jiangjun Mountain Ecological Tourism Scenic Area features gurgling mountain springs that converge into a broad river surface. The mountains and forests are lush, flowers are in full bloom, and the bird songs are melodious… This place was once the ancient battlefield of the Niushou Mountain Great Victory during the Song Dynasty. Eight hundred years ago, General Yue Fei fortified this area, setting up ambushes to defeat the powerful enemy Jin Wuzhu, and reclaimed Jiankang City (Nanjing). The ancient fortifications that stretch for several miles along the mountain ridge are a testament to the fierce battles of that time, hence the name Jiangjun Mountain. The rare water fir forest provides shade and fresh, moist air. The winding fir bridges built along the water create a green oxygen bar of nature, earning the area the reputation of ‘Nanjing Jiuzhaigou’ and ‘First Scenery of Jinling’. The lush tea gardens and long bamboo corridors are accompanied by the Sun and Moon Guanyin statues, with the Sun and Moon springs on either side, creating a beautiful and elegant scene. A visit here will also offer unexpected exciting activities such as fishing, barbecue, tea picking, bamboo rafting, carriage rides, and military training, allowing you to fully enjoy the wild and romantic nature.
