Xuanbao Town in Taixing City is acclaimed as the ‘First Town of Ginkgo in China’. The core area is located around Zhanghe, where there are more than 13,800 ginkgo trees planted, including three ancient ginkgo trees that are a thousand years old, over 1,600 ginkgo trees that are more than 200 years old, and over 3,800 ginkgo trees that are more than a century old. This is a rare ancient ginkgo population both in China and around the world.

The lush canopy and short trunks of the ancient ginkgo trees form a unique posture of Taixing ginkgoes. Large trees are either encircling villages or distributed along ditches and roadsides, naturally integrated, creating a picturesque scene, like a gathering of canopies, with each season offering its own unique beauty. Experts and scholars have praised it as ‘a wonder of nature, a paradise for leisure’.

Opening hours: Open all year round, 24 hours a day.
